Karla Magruder

A recognized leader in sustainable fashion and circular economy practices, Karla Magruder is the Founder and President of Accelerating Circularity. She drives industry transformation through collaborative textile-to-textile recycling trials with major brands and stakeholders. Previously, she founded Fabrikology International, a pioneer in sustainable textile solutions.

Karla's experience also includes being a Board Member of Textile Exchange (2016-2022), a member of Walmart ‘s Textile Lighthouse Advisory Board (since 2022), and a Board Member of the Cotton Board (since 2023). Her leadership is grounded in environmental stewardship and a commitment to innovative, collaborative action for systemic change. A sought-after speaker and 2023 B.A.U.M. | Environment and Sustainability Award recipient, Karla is dedicated to minimizing waste and optimizing resource use in the textile industry.
